Govt Implementing Uplift Agenda: CM

The heirs to Farhan Ahmad who was killed on resistance during a dacoity in Gujranwala called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the Chief Ministerís Secretariat on Saturday and informed him about the details of the incident.

The father of the deceased, Haji Mumtaz Ahmad, told the CM that the accused had run away by taking Rs 2 million while committing a dacoity and murdered his young son. He requested the CM to provide the family justice and arrest the culprits.

Expressing deep sorrow over the murder of the boy, the CM said that provision of justice to the affected family would be ensured at all cost and the culprits would not escape punishment. He directed the additional IG investigation to personally supervise the investigation into the case.

The chief minister prayed for the departed soul and announced a financial assistance of Rs 0.5 million for the affected family.
