Matric Student Ends Life Over Poor Result
A STUDENT committed suicide over his poor result in matriculation exam in the Shafiqabad police area on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Hamza, the son of Abdul Razaq. The victim’s father told the police that Hamza was tense due to his matriculation result. On the day of incident, he locked himself in his room and took poisonous pills, Abdul Razaq added. He was rushed to hospital where he died. Police handed over the body to his family.
Boy dies after falling from roof: A seven-year-old boy died after he fell down from the roof of his house in the Manga Mandi area on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Naeem. Police said the victim was playing on the roof of his house and he accidentally slipped and fell down in a street. He sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died. Police handed over the body to his family.
Train kills man: A 30-year-old unidentified man was crushed to death by a speeding train in the jurisdiction of Badami Bagh police on Thursday. Police said the decease was crossing railway lines in the Badami Bagh area when a train hit him and he died on the spot. Police removed the body to morgue.
Two bodies found: A 65-year-old man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in the jurisdiction of Township police on Thursday.
Police said the deceased, unidentified so far, was found dead near Al-Madina Road, Township. Locals spotted the body and informed the police about it. Police said the victim died of prolonged ailment. Police mad numerous announcements but no one turned up to claim the body. Later, the body was shifted to morgue.
Meanwhile, the body of a 30-year-old unidentified man was found in the Civil Lines police area. Police said that the deceased was found unconscious in the Civil Lines area and was rushed to hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. Police said that the cause of his death could not be confirmed yet. The body was shifted to morgue.
